Salim started off as a plasterer many years ago working for Wandsworth council, after a decade working for the council he decided he wanted a change, and in the late 80s Ash Builders was born!
What began as a sole trader company grew with the other passion in Salim’s life, his family, with three of his sons joining the family business. In 2013 they made it official, converting Ash Build to a limited company, his three sons as partners.
Salim is the project manager, the main point of contact for clients, and has an almost endless well of experience to draw upon. Trust us when we say that he’s seen it all before!
Hobbies: Holidays, good food, and the latest Netflix true crime series.
Sally previously worked for 16 years in the national blood service, recently retiring from the blood service she has now taken on a part time role of Admin for the Ash House Investment Ltd company. The rest of her time is spent enjoying her well earned retirement!
Hobbies: Holidays, hanging with the grandkids, brunches with friends.
Danny went to university to complete his degree in Aircraft Engineering. He enjoyed several years in the industry but decided that the family business was where he was happiest, returning to work alongside his Dad & brothers.
Danny is the foreman on site, and the point of contact for general queries if Salim isn’t available. Along with Tommy, Danny is the firm’s lead carpenter, with years of experience and a serious eye for detail & standards.

Hobbies: Comedy and music gigs, keeping up with all things Marvel and DC, learning guitar when he has some spare time
Kenny is a highly qualified electrician with over a decade of commercial & domestic experience. He gained his certification at Carshalton College before working at a large electrical firm to develop his skills & experience.
Although he still worked with Ash Build on the weekends, Kenny decided that a move back to the family business was the right fit for him. Kenny is in charge of the electrical work but also specializes in tiling, brick work, as well as general building works. A man of many talents!
Hobbies: Fishing, Techno music and training for the 2024 London Marathon
Tommy gained his plumbing qualification at Nescot college, and like his brothers gained wider construction experience through the family firm. Tommy is a natural problem solver, and clients love his creativity in overcoming obstacles that may crop up in the course of a project. Despite being the youngest of the brothers, Tommy has actually worked the longest full time at Ash Build.
He’s currently carrying out a renovation on his first property in his spare time. So clearly, he’s someone that loves what he does!
Hobbies: Fishing, making Techno music/DJ-ing, renovation.
Whilst the main team will carry out the majority of our work, we do keep a roster of highly skilled & trusted subcontractors on our books. It’s not easy to earn a spot on this list, we believe in only having the best specialists, who we bring in for specific aspects if a project requires it. We’ve worked with all of our subcontractors for many years, and will oversee any work they carry out.
